Missions at Grace Bible Church
When evaluating the merit of any missionary effort, our top three priorities should be doctrine, integrity, and practice. The Great Commission is not merely about sending missionaries, but about sending God's truth through them. Those who proclaim the gospel must exemplify it through their lives. Scripture guides our strategy—focused on proclamation, intercessory prayer, and sacrificial service.
We currently support the following mission families/ efforts

DescriptiAt BCH we care for vulnerable children and families in a holistic manner, with a focus on biblical truth, permanency, and a true family environment according to James 1:27. Family care is important to us because, according to Psalm 68:6, God places the solitary in families. The family is God's design and therefore our goal.
We accomplish this through our Homes of Compassion in the US in which we care for children who are vulnerable in volunteer, temporary, Christian homes. We extend this care to at-risk children internationally, caring for 771 children. Although there are many vulnerable children in the countries in which we serve, we strive to provide care for them in their own families or with dedicated foster families who will raise the children as their own in small family settings. Our desire is for permanency.
Often trauma affects a child’s ability to remain in his/her own home. We address this with our BCH Cares, Trauma Awareness Training. We teach families and churches who have experienced trauma about parenting in a biblical and trauma-aware manner. This is valuable both in the US and at all our international sites.
BCH, Inc. was called into existence in 1955 by churches seeking assistance in caring for families and children. BCH, according to the biblical mandate in James 1:27 to "Care for the Fatherless", answered this call and today cares for more than 800 children in the United States, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Zambia. on text goes here

After moving to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute, Debbie (from Michigan, class of ’82) and Keith (from New Jersey, class of ’86) met while serving at ICI. Five children, two grandchildren and thirty plus years later, they are still at ICI caring for facilities and vehicles, teaching kids and camping with them, and ministering in a local church. Keith says, “In all of our time here in Chicago and at ICI we have continually seen God’s grace at work in both big and little things. We have been able to use our Spiritual gifts and natural abilities to shine His light in often dark places. We have known His physical protection in sometimes trying circumstances. What to others may seem dangerous is to us routine, but we can never take for granted God’s protection and provision.”
