  • Yes. Our Statement of faith is called the London Baptist Confession. It is a very old confession that still represents what we believe to be closely following the truths of scripture.

  • We do to the extent allowed by scripture. That includes many areas of leadership, but because of the clear teaching of scripture, we limit the positions of Deacon and Elder to qualified men.

  • We stand with the teachings of Scripture. The Bible defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman and views any sexual activity outside of this covenant, whether homosexual or heterosexual, as sin. While we hold these beliefs, it’s important to emphasize that we have a deep love and care for all people, including those who identify as LGBT. We earnestly pray for everyone involved in any form of sexual sin to repent and turn to Christ, finding forgiveness, healing, and transformation in Him. Our goal is to reflect Christ’s love while remaining faithful to His Word.

  • Our preaching style is mainly expositional, which means our pastor loves digging into the text of Scripture and sticking to what it says. He doesn't typically focus politics or current events, but if the Bible passage he’s teaching happens to touch on something that’s a hot topic, he won’t shy away from it. He’ll address it with the same faithfulness to Scripture, making sure everything we talk about is rooted in God’s Word.

  • We do not limit style, but we are very careful to select music that combines old and new hymns and many psalms often set to a modern rhythm. The source and theology of our music is very important, and while we strive for excellence, our primary goal is not to entertain but to lead the congregation to sing together and loudly.

  • The preaching is an expositional verse by verse walk through entire books of the Bible. Our main service begins at 11am and typically runs until around 12:30. For some this seems long, but it is rare that we have complaints.

  • Yes! God has given each believer unique gifts, meant to serve and strengthen the church. We require anyone in leadership to be a member, but whether you are a musician, handyman, or just good and being a friend, we need you!

  • You’re welcomed to come as you are, whether it’s a suit and tie or shorts and a shirt. Whatever you feel most comfortable wearing. There is a little of both most Sundays.

We are far more concerned about your heart than your clothing. To learn more about why we aren’t all that concerned about your clothing, click HERE

  • Founded in the 1850s as "First Baptist Church," our congregation took on the name "Grace Bible Church" in 2006. However, after enduring a series of church splits and conflicts, our numbers dwindled to just eight members by 2022. Facing significant financial challenges and urgent building repairs, there was serious talk of selling the property and closing our doors. But God had other plans. Today, under new leadership and with a congregation willing to attempt big things, we are experiencing remarkable growth and God's hand of blessing is evident in our Church.

  • Our vision is for Grace Bible Church to grow organically into a God-honoring community, shaped by the diverse gifts of our current and future members. While our exact path is not predefined, we are committed to teaching believers to use their gifts and guiding the church's growth naturally, rather than following a synthetic, pre-packaged mega-church model. Ultimately, its not our job to build the church, but to faithfully teach the Word of God and get out of Gods way as He builds His church.

  • The pastor typically preaches from the ESV or NKJV. Choosing a good Bible translation is important. Its also important to understand how the Bible came to us in English. Many good people are confused about this, and we want Gods people to be equipped to make a scholarly defense of the trustworthiness of Gods Word.

  • Believers are instructed to resist the devil, not to bind or loose him. Resisting the devil means standing firm in faith and in obedience to God. This is in line with the defensive posture mentioned in Ephesians 6. The promise is that when we resist the devil by submitting to God, he will flee from us. This emphasizes that our power comes through submission to God, not by asserting authority over demonic forces. to learn more about this, click HERE
